Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) Enterprise Data WareHouse (EDW)
Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F)
changing the culture of health and fitness
The Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) system is the U.S. Army's comprehensive approach to enhancing Soldier readiness and lethality. By focusing on optimizing both physical and non-physical performance, reducing injuries, and improving rehabilitation, H2F ensures Soldiers are prepared for the demands of combat and duty. This enterprise-wide system integrates five key domains—Mental Readiness, Sleep Readiness, Nutritional Readiness, Spiritual Readiness, and Physical Readiness—under a unified governance structure, empowering Soldiers to take control of their health and well-being, ultimately enhancing the overall effectiveness of the total Army.
H2F Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)
Lyteworx is proud to have successfully designed and implemented the Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) for the U.S. Army. This project, managed under an Other Transactional Authority (OTA) contract, began with the integration of data from Basic Combat Training (BCT) and Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) brigades, with a strategic roadmap to expand the system across all uniformed personnel in the Army.
Human Performance Software
The H2F EDW serves as a central repository that aggregates and manages a vast array of data, including biometric readings from wearable devices and survey responses collected through the CoachMe+ mobile application. To support this, Lyteworx developed specialized ingestion and data preparation processes tailored to each device, ensuring the data is efficiently processed and ready for advanced AI/ML operations.
Throughout the project, Lyteworx delivered end-to-end management and engineering services, utilizing Microsoft Azure's cArmy infrastructure and the Databricks platform for tasks such as data ingestion, normalization, and model deployment. Additionally, our team provided full-scale Program Management services, which included strategic planning, governance, stakeholder engagement, and comprehensive monitoring and reporting.
By employing an Agile methodology, Lyteworx ensured the project remained flexible and responsive to the evolving needs of the U.S. Army, delivering a robust and scalable solution that enhances Soldier readiness and performance.
